About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assemblies, inspections, and sub-assemblies using basic tools and techniques.
  • Conduct visual and physical in-process testing to ensure high-quality production standards.
  • Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets to determine setup procedures and safety precautions.
  • Diagnose faulty operations, product imperfections, or equipment malfunctions and report to technical personnel.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts of completed work and monitor production schedules.
  • Package component parts and assemblies for shipment, ensuring all vital parts and instructions are included.
  • Rotate among various workstations and tasks to support department needs and cross-training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs and work in various positions including standing and sitting.
  • Natural or corrected near-distance visual acuity of 20/25 and the ability to differentiate colors.
  • Strong mechanical dexterity and basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and maintain a high degree of accuracy during repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments, including increased automation and production method changes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of successful experience in assembly or a related functional area.
