Operator I, Lettershop

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed production equipment for folding, assembly, inserting, packaging, sorting, and mailing
• Set up and adjust equipment for production runs independently
• Troubleshoot mailing, sorting, folding, and inserting equipment to resolve issues
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify deviations
• Read and understand job tickets to maintain and document the production process
• Work with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet deadlines

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Flexibility to work extended shifts and weekends during peak seasons

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Direct Mail, Lettershop, or Printing environment
• Knowledge of or experience with USPS postal regulations
• Experience using powered material handling equipment and stacking pallets
