Operator I

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for personal safety by following safe working practices, PPE guidelines, and reporting unsafe conditions
• Follow process documentation, including risk analyses and standard work, to complete batch sheets and handovers
• Support operations by performing skilled operator tasks and adhering to production schedules
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance and carry out duties as directed by the Production Lead
• Drive continuous improvement by upholding 5S standards and suggesting process improvements

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Minimum of 4 GCSEs (A*-C) including English, Maths, and Science
• Must be a non-smoker and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months
• Strong focus on safety and understanding of EHS importance
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 A-Levels (or equivalent) in engineering or science
• Previous experience in chemical, engineering, or manufacturing fields
