Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate various production lines and equipment within validated perimeters
• Ensure product quality and maintain production line rates
• Identify and troubleshoot production equipment issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor machine adjustments
• Execute equipment changeovers to minimize downtime
• Maintain correct set-up specifications and complete required production documentation
• Follow all safety, environmental, GMP, and Lean 5S policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Two years of mechanical training or previous experience in a packaging/production environment
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts while standing, bending, and reaching
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, and controls aspects of production equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime
