About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes under direct supervision
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during all operations
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are correct and parts are traceable
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on applicable equipment
  • Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to manufacturing management

Requirements

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
  • Ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages
  • Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs
  • Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts
  • Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience working in a medical or other regulated production environment
  • Previous experience in medical device manufacturing or assembly
  • High school degree or equivalent
