Operator I

Responsibilities

• Perform routine casting, coating, and mechanical assembly operations for medical devices
• Examine devices to locate and correct defects such as bubbles, nicks, or excess epoxy using microscopes and small tools
• Kit, bond, and process medical devices and related parts
• Execute packaging functions for devices and accessories
• Review all device documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Utilize special test equipment and electronic data collection systems

Requirements

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic data collection systems and computer software
• Ability to handle and maneuver small, delicate components and parts
• Ability to prioritize work sequencing and timing based on importance
• Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision
