Operator I

Responsibilities

• Perform routine casting, coating, and mechanical assembly operations for medical devices
• Examine devices using microscopes to locate and correct defects such as bubbles or excess epoxy
• Utilize small tools including drills, reamers, taps, and syringes to repair components
• Kit, assemble, and package medical devices and related accessories
• Review device documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Utilize electronic data collection systems and special test equipment as required

Requirements

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic data collection systems and computer software
• Ability to handle and maneuver small, delicate components and parts
• Strong ability to prioritize work tasks based on precedence and importance
• Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision
