About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic, mechanical, and packaging assembly functions for medical devices using microscopes and specialized tools
  • Execute casting and coating functions, including examining devices for defects and using small tools to repair bubbles or excess epoxy
  • Conduct visual inspections and use computerized test equipment to locate and correct assembly problems
  • Kit, assemble, and package devices and accessories while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Comply with FDA regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and company operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean-room manufacturing environment by following required gowning and particle-control protocols

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision assembly
  • Ability to follow strict FDA regulations and company policies
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in a clean-room environment requiring gowning attire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six or more months of experience in the assembly of digital/analog circuitry or medical devices
  • Prior experience working in an air-conditioned clean room manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
