Operator

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely administrative forms associated with the extrusion process
• Clean vacuum, stuffer, and atmospheric vents to ensure they are free of material
• Monitor extruder cooling tanks to maintain adequate distilled water levels and proper additives
• Ensure production lines run at established rates, temperatures, and percentages
• Verify that all boards meet color and length specifications according to the daily schedule
• Monitor hourly output to verify product quality and notify supervisors of any issues
• Maintain safe working habits around equipment and while moving materials
• Assist co-workers and support the team as directed by the Process Leader

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machinery operator experience in a continuous production environment
• Knowledge of the Panel Mate computer control system
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work 12-hour shifts
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
