Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines and adjust variables to achieve production efficiency
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes and performance standards
• Perform simple installation tasks under close supervision following detailed instructions
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and appliances
• Support quality functions by working within strict quality standards
• Follow mandatory work instructions and use personal protection equipment to ensure safety

Requirements

• Secondary or Intermediate education (e.g., 2 GCSE)
• Elementary verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actions
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision
• Basic awareness of risk management and safe systems of work in a production process
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize activities to meet business objectives
