Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation and control of assigned operating areas within specified conditions
• Perform sampling and analysis of process elements to monitor and improve quality
• Execute routine operating procedures including equipment start-ups, shutdowns, and isolations
• Monitor process recording and troubleshoot operational issues
• Report variances in operating areas and contribute to investigations and corrective actions
• Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, and Responsible Care standards
• Plan, schedule, and complete routine required tasks in an accountable manner

Requirements

• 5 or more years of facility operations experience
• Diploma in Engineering Technology or a comparable field
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• ABSA Power Engineering Certificate of Competency (3rd or 4th Class)
