Operator

Responsibilities

• Transfer products around the plant and operate water treatment facilities
• Operate and monitor equipment including pumps, valves, filters, and instrumentation
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on failed equipment
• Maintain high standards of process safety and follow all safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members and communicate operating errors proactively

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid US driver’s license (required to operate yard trucks)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (4-on/4-off, alternating days and nights)
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays as needed
• Must meet one of the following: Associate degree in Process Technology, 3 years of manufacturing experience, 6 months of coatings manufacturing experience, or 3 years of relevant military experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Process Technician Certification or relevant Associate degree
• Chemical manufacturing experience
• Experience with control systems (e.g., Siemens, DeltaV) or Aspen Process Explorer
• Forklift or fork truck certification
• Mechanical, maintenance, or heavy machinery experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
