Operator Digital Print Department

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain digital printing production equipment according to job specifications
• Load digital files, configure printing parameters, and manage printing materials like paper and inventory
• Perform regular maintenance tasks including cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues
• Monitor the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and overall print quality
• Ensure proper sorting and output according to USPS requirements
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area while following all plant safety rules
• Accurately use job data capture to track time and reconcile all output

Requirements

• Experience operating a continuous web digital printer
• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of USPS regulations
• Ability to read and understand job tickets
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Proven work history of longevity, excellent attendance, and responsibility in a production setting
