Operator Control Room Quarry

Responsibilities

• Operate crushing and screening plants simultaneously using automation graphic user interfaces (GUI)
• Perform plant start-ups, shut-downs, and minor equipment repairs or adjustments
• Monitor and operate console equipment including communication tools, recorders, and printers
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and assist in aggregate plant repairs as directed
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical instrumentation problems and perform necessary emergency repairs
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe working areas and equipment
• Comply with all company safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven ability to multitask using computers
• Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, area, and volume)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience operating aggregate plants
• 2 years of experience in a similar industry
