Operator, Components

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect products during operation and monitor equipment for proper performance
• Assist with the setup and operation of production equipment
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment to maintain an orderly work area
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored according to standards
• Document material runs using Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, and micrometers as instructed
• Assist in training new personnel and coordinate work with other operators as directed

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience considered)
• Strong mechanical, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, climb ladders, and identify small defects
