Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mail insertion equipment according to job templates and instructions
• Monitor production quality by performing periodic checks, including print quality and proper folding
• Reconcile completed jobs in the IQ System to ensure all mail pieces and inputs are accounted for
• Verify that correct inserts, envelopes, and indicias are used for each specific job
• Maintain accurate documentation, including Move Logs and batch notes
• Follow all safety procedures during equipment operation and report concerns to management
• Ensure material counts, such as box and pallet totals, are correct and match batch tickets

Requirements

• 1 year of experience operating mail insertion equipment in a production environment
• Fluency in English with the ability to communicate job status and operational concerns
• Knowledge of various postage classes (e.g., first class, standard mail)
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows PC applications
• Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and holidays based on production needs
