Operator, Blowmold

Responsibilities

• Operate various blowmolding machines to produce cases, lids, and wheels according to production specifications
• Perform tasks such as trimming excess material, flame parts, and regrinding plastic for reuse
• Maintain cycle time standards to meet production requirements and ensure quality
• Inspect parts continuously for Critical to Quality (CTQ) elements and weigh parts hourly
• Stack finished parts into racks or palletainers and track production counts
• Utilize 5S methods to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Notify supervisors regarding machine issues or material shortages
• Work in compliance with all site safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic arithmetic skills for weighing parts and using a calculator
• Ability to read and understand basic English instructions and paperwork
• Ability to stand constantly throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform repetitive gripping/handling
• Ability to work a weekend schedule and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
