Operator 1

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specified parameters
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and perform basic repairs on equipment as needed
• Sample and test products to ensure quality standards are met
• Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading and unloading trucks
• Pack, inspect, and manage various containers such as bags, totes, sacks, or drums
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform tasks involving the movement of chemicals
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Computer literacy
• Ability to obtain forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with forklifts
• Experience using SAP
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
