Operator 1

Responsibilities

• Perform routine casting, coating, and mechanical assembly operations for medical devices
• Examine devices after molding to identify and correct defects such as bubbles, nicks, or excess epoxy
• Utilize small tools, including drills, reamers, and syringes, to repair and patch components
• Assemble, bond, and package medical devices and accessories using microscopes and specialized tools
• Review all device documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Set up and utilize special test equipment as required

Requirements

• 0-6 months of experience in a medical or other regulated production environment
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
• Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and computer software
• Manual dexterity to handle and maneuver small, delicate components
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on sequencing, timing, and importance
