Operative Teamlead & Blasting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead an operative team of 8 employees, coordinating personnel and machinery deployment.
• Manage the entire blasting process, including computer-aided drilling plan creation, loading, and ignition.
• Maintain legal compliance for blasting reports and manage explosives strictly according to regulations.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and efficient use of construction machinery and plant equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support digital data collection and the optimization of grain size distribution for crusher plants.

Requirements

• Completed technical or manual vocational training or several years of experience in surface or underground mining.
• Mandatory Blasting Certificate C, including large borehole expertise.
• Valid Driving License B.
• Proficient experience operating construction machinery.
• Proficiency in German; basic knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Ability to assess rock layer properties to adjust blasting plans accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in team leadership.
• Remote pilot certificates (A1/A3 and A2).
• Experience with specific machinery types (M2, M3, and M7).
• High affinity for new technologies and digital processes.
