Operations Trainer

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging inductions, training, and competency assessments to employees, contractors, and agency staff
• Facilitate practical, on-the-job, and classroom-based training for heavy vehicles, forklifts, and MHE
• Conduct on-road driver assessments and support license and compliance requirements
• Implement training solutions aligned to operational and customer needs
• Mentor and support Business Unit Trainers to foster capability and consistency across sites
• Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and compliance documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and methodologies
• Promote a strong safety culture in alignment with regulatory and Linfox standards
• Travel to metro and regional sites to deliver training and support operational needs

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or currently working towards it)
• Demonstrated experience delivering site-based training, such as inductions or driver assessments
• Valid MC Licence (Road Train experience is highly regarded)
• Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
• Proven ability to deliver training in high-risk or operational environments
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail regarding compliance and record keeping
• Flexibility to travel and work across varying hours and locations

• HRW Accredited Assessor status
