About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging inductions, training, and competency assessments to employees, contractors, and agency staff
- Facilitate practical, on-the-job, and classroom-based training for heavy vehicles, forklifts, and MHE
- Conduct on-road driver assessments and support license and compliance requirements
- Implement training solutions aligned to operational and customer needs
- Mentor and support Business Unit Trainers to foster capability and consistency across sites
- Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and compliance documentation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and methodologies
- Promote a strong safety culture in alignment with regulatory and Linfox standards
- Travel to metro and regional sites to deliver training and support operational needs
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or currently working towards it)
- Demonstrated experience delivering site-based training, such as inductions or driver assessments
- Valid MC Licence (Road Train experience is highly regarded)
- Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
- Proven ability to deliver training in high-risk or operational environments
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail regarding compliance and record keeping
- Flexibility to travel and work across varying hours and locations

- HRW Accredited Assessor status
