About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, and assemble products according to quality standards
- Maintain and monitor machinery to ensure proper function and production efficiency
- Perform multiple manufacturing processes using various equipment and tools
- Follow standard work methods and lean manufacturing principles to meet customer demand
- Solve production problems with team assistance and contribute to continuous improvement
- Cross-train in different departments to learn additional functions and rotate through workstations
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance and work overtime as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience demonstrating competency
- Basic math skills including counting, adding, and subtracting
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced math skills related to Geometric Dimensional Tolerances (GDT)
- Experience in assembly, machine operation, or material handling
