Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, and assemble products according to quality standards
• Maintain and monitor machinery to ensure proper function and production efficiency
• Perform multiple manufacturing processes using various equipment and tools
• Follow standard work methods and lean manufacturing principles to meet customer demand
• Solve production problems with team assistance and contribute to continuous improvement
• Cross-train in different departments to learn additional functions and rotate through workstations
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and work overtime as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience demonstrating competency
• Basic math skills including counting, adding, and subtracting
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced math skills related to Geometric Dimensional Tolerances (GDT)
• Experience in assembly, machine operation, or material handling
