Operations Technician I

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift as a technical and mechanical expert for the assigned production area
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of machine issues to minimize downtime
• Perform routine machine inspections, upkeep, and minor autonomous maintenance
• Document machine adjustments and repair processes accurately
• Coordinate production changeovers, ensuring proper line clearance and paperwork completion
• Perform necessary quality checks and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Assist in training employees on machines, systems, and work instructions
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D required
• Proven technical or mechanical skills
• Basic electrical understanding and mechanical alignment skills
• Knowledge of pneumatic and vacuum technology
• Proficiency using measuring and leveling tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Ability to follow LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) protocols and safety guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with automation systems
