Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate HAUVs for inspection of customers’ underwater infrastructure using robotic intelligence
• Operate the system as a HAUV rather than a traditional ROV
• Help develop and contribute to concepts of operations for autonomous operations
• Prepare field equipment pre- and post-deployment
• Assist Engineering in investigating and resolving on-site and off-site issues
• Support electrical and mechanical integration, assembly, and rigorous environmental testing
• Assist with logistics, administrative documents, and collection or delivery of parts

Requirements

• Active learner with demonstrated interest in autonomous intelligent machines and robots
• Practical hands-on experience
• Technical certificate of competence (NITEC/Diploma)

Preferred Qualifications

• Driver’s license
• Skipper, Steersman, or Helmsman license
