Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs) for underwater infrastructure inspection
• Contribute to the development of concept of operations for autonomous operations
• Prepare field equipment for pre and post deployments
• Assist Engineering in investigating and resolving on-site and off-site technical issues
• Assist with electrical and mechanical integration and assembly of parts
• Support rigorous environmental testing including pressure, vibration, and thermal requirements
• Manage logistics including administrative documentation and parts collection/delivery

Requirements

• Technical certificate of competence (SKM, TVET, or Diploma)
• Practical hands-on technical experience
• Ability to travel to remote sites, vessels, and offshore platforms
• Willingness to work at nearshore, offshore, and sea trial locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in autonomous intelligent machines or robotics
• Valid driver's license
• Skipper, Steersman, or Helmsman license
