About the role
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to provided specifications and blueprints
- Handle delicate optics and use calibrated measuring equipment
- Follow workflow instructions from Supervision and Group Leads
- Use visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols
- Perform basic data entry and computer-related tasks
Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology
- Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions
- Comfort working with the metric system
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work day or afternoon shifts
- Capability to remain seated or standing for extended periods
