Operations Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Own all processes around withholding taxes, including daily reconciliation and settlement
• Provide detailed tax event analyses for the retail business to support decision-making and corrective actions
• Create concepts to optimize processes related to capital gains tax, church tax, solidarity surcharge, and financial transaction taxes
• Perform annual tests of tax certificate calculations and prepare internal training for client-facing entities
• Identify and communicate legislative changes and support their implementation to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Completed banking apprenticeship or a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or an equivalent field
• Fundamental experience in securities services, brokerage, or asset management
• Knowledge of securities and banking taxation processes, including corporate actions, securities transfers, and interest payments
• Proven ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
