About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and integrate multi-discipline support services including fleet, procurement, mail, radio, and parts management into a standardized operating model
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to reduce cycle times and improve service reliability
  • Develop and manage performance metrics and dashboards to track on-time delivery, parts fill rates, and cost recovery
  • Optimize inventory strategies, procurement practices, and fleet lifecycle management to balance availability and cost
  • Oversee mail and campus distribution operations to ensure security, compliance, and efficient routing
  • Design workforce development programs, including skill frameworks and training, to sustain support roles
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and service providers while identifying digital opportunities for automation
  • Partner with labor/union stakeholders, HR, and finance to align staffing and collective bargaining considerations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements and maintain high safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in facility maintenance management and execution
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team in a multi-skill discipline
  • Experience working with multiple functional organizations across multiple sites
  • Strong leadership, partnering, and organizational change management skills
  • Ability to work a variable shift
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma or PMP
  • Experience managing large-scale fleet or maintenance programs
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Experience in the aviation, MRO, or transportation sectors
