Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient day-to-day branch operations, including facility and budget management
• Supervise Material Handlers and Lab Technicians directly
• Facilitate compliance with corporate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies
• Lead the branch's emergency response team
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations to employees
• Support branch health and safety programs and conduct regular safety audits
• Participate in inspections from regulatory agencies such as DOT, EPA, FDA, and DHS
• Cultivate a positive work environment and encourage employee ownership of performance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of experience in operations
• Knowledge of chemical distribution facility operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Laboratory knowledge or experience
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
