About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily work activities to achieve departmental production, quality, and safety targets for the 3rd shift.
  • Supervise a team by providing work direction, coaching, and consistent communication.
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives to identify and eliminate process waste.
  • Execute leader standard work, including daily gemba walks and tier-board facilitation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide recommendations regarding hiring and disciplinary actions.
  • Model and reinforce a strong safety culture through regular audits and incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and operational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Proven supervisory experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems or SAP.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques or fulfillment operations.
