Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the consumer site and depot assets
• Demonstrate leadership by coaching and encouraging staff
• Maintain internal databases and follow up on vehicle/trailer defects
• Administer vehicle and trailer maintenance programs
• Complete daily depot checks including trailers, returns, and pallets
• Manage driver performance and improvement actions
• Support Operations Manager with depot payroll planning
• Maintain personnel files, license validations, and training records
• Coordinate recruitment and employee training
• Assist in accident investigations and risk assessments
• Provide data for weekly KPI reports

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a transport-related role
• Knowledge of EU Hours, Working Time Directives, and Tachograph legislation
• CPC National Qualification preferred
• PC literacy with Excel knowledge
• 1 year of experience in transport operations
