About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and coach associates to meet production goals and foster a high-performance culture
- Execute production plans and schedules to ensure timely and accurate order completion
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S/CANDO systems, and continuous improvement activities
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations, leading investigations into incidents or near misses
- Manage resource allocation, inventory control, and equipment maintenance (TPM)
- Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, HR, and finance departments to optimize workflow
- Manage administrative tasks including overtime, attendance, and weekly payroll approval
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution operations
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and personnel development
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen activities
- Background in sheet metal, custom fabrication, laser cutting, welding, or mechanical assembly
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional development
