Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct hourly team members in the manufacture, packaging, and shipment of fasteners
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and housekeeping standards
• Manage production and delivery expectations by optimizing labor, skills, and team cross-training
• Evaluate manufacturing and shipping problems and implement corrective actions
• Drive cost savings through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies
• Administer human resource policies and disciplinary procedures in a non-union environment
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and assist with IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven manufacturing and warehouse knowledge
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effective decision-making ability and people skills
• Proficiency with personal computers

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of software used in manufacturing and warehouse operations
• Experience with Gaging or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Familiarity with customer and product-specific requirements
