About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and coach associates to meet production goals and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Execute production plans and schedules to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S/CANDO systems, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to optimize workflow.
  • Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations, leading investigations into incidents and near misses.
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Manage administrative tasks including overtime, attendance compliance, and weekly payroll approval.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and personnel development.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement projects.
  • Background in sheet metal, custom fabrication, laser cutting, welding, or mechanical assembly.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
