Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production of critical components for GTF engines in a highly automated manufacturing environment
• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth execution within a dynamic, unionized shop
• Lead and coach a team of versatile operators across multiple shifts to meet production targets
• Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and OEE
• Lead investigations into equipment failures, automation, robotics, or quality issues in collaboration with technical teams
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize automated production line performance
• Support the integration of new products into production alongside manufacturing engineering teams
• Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to support frontline needs and manage shift transitions

Requirements

• DEC or Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Power BI
• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience or knowledge within the aerospace industry and critical components
• Functional English proficiency for reading technical plans and communicating with international stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with shifting priorities
• Results-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
