Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and OEE goals
• Develop, coach, and engage operations employees to meet performance expectations and regulatory compliance (GMPs, SQF)
• Plan and coordinate production activities, staffing, and scheduling to meet demand while managing inventories
• Foster clear communication and accountability across shifts, including effective shift handoff meetings
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, engagement, and safety
• Conduct safety, GMP, and pre-operational audits and ensure prompt corrective actions
• Support equipment and process improvements, including the implementation of new procedures
• Develop and track training programs to build technical capability and leadership skills within the team

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience
• Prior supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and continuous improvement tools
• Proven ability to build relationships, inspire teams, and lead through change
• Demonstrated leadership in planning, problem-solving, and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, Science, or a related field
• Experience in food processing or packaging environments
