Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multiple warehouse functions including receiving, warehousing, and shipping
• Supervise Leads, warehouse teammates, and other supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
• Assign teammates to specific duties and establish effective work schedules
• Screen, hire, and train warehouse teammates on job functions and safe machinery operation
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure total adherence to DEA and OSHA regulations
• Analyze and resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with non-warehouse departments such as Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service
• Conduct performance reviews and initiate personnel actions including promotions or disciplinary measures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Windows-based programs and ability to utilize operational reports
• Knowledge of DEA and OSHA regulations
• Certification on all warehouse machinery
• For external hires: at least one year of supervisory experience and two years of warehouse experience preferred
