About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct operations activities and teammates for one or more functions within the Distribution Center, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
- Manage teammate time, attendance, and schedules for assigned functional areas.
- Provide proactive performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action to teammates.
- Oversee training and succession planning to identify and develop talent.
- Drive achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements regarding hazardous materials, storage, and reporting agencies (OSHA, FDA, etc.).
- Utilize RF/Voice Pick technology and motorized Material Handling Equipment to support high-level operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse operations experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and people management skills.
- Proficiency with RF/Voice Pick/Visual Pick technology.
- Proficiency with motorized Material Handling Equipment (e.g., cherry picker, reach truck, forklift, motorized pallet jack).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the healthcare, medical, or medical device industry.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Financial acumen and experience with profit and loss responsibilities.
