Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the performance of unionized employee teams
• Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective departmental operations
• Provide data regarding productivity, quality, and absenteeism metrics
• Plan sector activities to accommodate special promotions or seasonal events
• Maintain open communication with other departments to resolve operational issues
• Foster a positive, team-oriented, and safe work environment
• Participate in the development and execution of warehouse projects
• Train, evaluate, and support the professional development of subordinates
• Ensure compliance with company policies and collective agreements

Requirements

• Bilingualism (English and French) is required
• 1-2 years of management experience, ideally in a high-volume distribution environment
• Proven experience working within a unionized environment
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience applying Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to support internal and external clients outside of Quebec and the US

Preferred Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in Business Management or Supply Chain
• Experience as a PQRS (Personne qualifiée responsable suppléante)
