Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, including performance management and scheduling.
• Monitor and manage daily operational workflows, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and FDA.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facility and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory control activities.
• Collaborate with customer service and transportation departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare and present operational reports to management regarding key performance metrics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, starting at 9:00 AM until daily tasks are completed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical products or pharmaceutical distribution.
