Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multiple units within the CAR-T process operations including component preparation, manufacturing support, and process operations
• Ensure safe and compliant manufacturing operations according to cGMP requirements and standard operating procedures
• Lead daily start-of-shift and wrap-up production meetings and assign daily tasks to team members
• Provide guidance on the production floor and perform production tasks as needed to support the team
• Support manufacturing investigations, create or revise operational procedures, and manage change controls
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure seamless production execution
• Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies within cell therapy Technical Operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years of operations experience within a cGMP environment in the biotech/biopharma industry
• Prior experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance related to cell-based products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, and accommodate unplanned overtime
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and maintain specific visual acuity and color perception

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Excellence or Lean Manufacturing
