Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily execution of production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators
• Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time
• Monitor performance against key metrics including output, defects, and downtime
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance for work center readiness
• Enforce safety protocols, 5S practices, and standard work
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling of team members
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• 1+ years in a formal or informal leadership role
• Experience with takt time, standard work, visual management, and daily tier meetings
• Proficiency in ERP, Excel, and production dashboards
• Strong people leadership and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Coaching and performance management experience
• Root cause analysis skills (5 Whys, fishbone)
• Understanding of Lean, 5S, and visual factory principles
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills
