Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the local facility, including inbound, inventory, verification, outbound, and fulfillment processes
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain a healthy work environment for all associates
• Lead, manage, and cross-train a diverse team of associates and service providers
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce operational costs
• Perform cost-benefit analyses and monitor expenses to ensure the facility stays within budget
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improve handling flow and customer experience
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve potential delays and logistical slippages
• Maintain a calm, positive, and focused leadership style in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics
• Minimum of 5 years of cumulative supervisory experience, preferably in warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, or retail
• Basic understanding of import and export processes
• Strong proficiency in computer skills and financial acumen for expense tracking and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds
• Availability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
