Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control operational processes and cycles to ensure timely delivery of local and foreign shipments.
• Manage human, material, and technical resources in accordance with company policies.
• Oversee personnel during weighing, classification, routing, and labeling of shipments.
• Ensure all necessary equipment and tools are available for daily operations.
• Direct and manage operational and union personnel, including training and development.
• Determine and communicate pre-alerts regarding incoming cargo volumes to various locations.
• Prepare and deliver return indicators to the Shipment Control area.
• Implement and manage contingency plans as required.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in logistics.
• Proven experience in the courier and parcel industry.
• Experience managing operational and unionized personnel.
• Expertise in warehouse management and local delivery route design.
• Experience managing vehicle/automotive operations.
