Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control operational processes, including weighing, classifying, routing, and labeling shipments.
• Manage and direct operational and union staff, including training and professional development.
• Ensure all local and foreign shipments are correctly routed and delivered to meet service guarantees.
• Manage human, material, and technical resources to ensure daily operational efficiency.
• Monitor equipment and tools availability for daily operations.
• Determine pre-alerts for incoming cargo volumes to various locations.
• Report return indicators to the Shipment Control area and implement contingency plans.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in logistics.
• Proven experience in the courier and parcel industry.
• Experience managing operational and unionized personnel.
• Expertise in warehouse management and local delivery route design.
• Experience managing vehicle/automotive operations.
