Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the Reservations Consultants to deliver outstanding service
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow management and adherence to quality standards
• Provide guidance on complex itineraries, destination expertise, and customer requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams, guides, clients, and supplier partners for seamless travel experiences
• Resolve operational challenges promptly and professionally
• Conduct quality control on all bookings to maintain high service standards
• Manage availability and source suitable alternatives where required
• Monitor confirmations, cancellations, and amendments to ensure smooth operations
• Track performance to improve productivity and guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in inbound leisure travel, destination management, or tour operations
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Excellent knowledge of South and Southern Africa destinations, travel products, and logistics
• Strong systems proficiency and experience with reservations platforms
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Experience working with the Turkish market is advantageous
