Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise operators, plant drivers, and site staff
• Take ownership of daily site operations to ensure safety and efficiency
• Oversee waste receival, compaction, and load-out processes
• Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership and toolbox talks
• Ensure strict compliance with EPA, safety, and site licence requirements
• Troubleshoot operational issues to maintain site schedules

Requirements

• Experience supervising teams in waste, recycling, logistics, transport, or heavy industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
• Solid understanding of safety and environmental compliance
• Current mobile plant tickets (loader/excavator)
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, busy industrial environments
• Strong communication and organisational skills
