Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across depackaging and organics processing areas
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-performing environment
• Ensure a strong safety and wellbeing culture and compliance with EPA Victoria standards
• Monitor plant performance, quality, and contamination levels
• Coordinate maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Run toolbox talks and manage day-to-day priorities
• Forecast and plan requirements for transport, contractors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience leading a team within an operational environment (e.g., waste, manufacturing, logistics, or food processing)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and environmental compliance

• An interest in sustainability or resource recovery
