Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily collection runs and operational activities
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team
• Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and company policies
• Oversee vehicle pre-starts, post-run inspections, and day-to-day maintenance
• Investigate and resolve service issues to maintain high levels of customer service
• Prepare and analyse reports regarding labour utilisation, operational performance, and cost management
• Manage employee performance, including investigations and improvement processes

Requirements

• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Experience in logistics, operations, or waste management (preferred)
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
