About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule daily collection runs and operational activities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team
- Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and company policies
- Oversee vehicle pre-starts, post-run inspections, and day-to-day maintenance
- Manage employee performance, including investigations and improvement processes
- Prepare and analyse reports regarding labour utilisation, performance, and cost management
- Resolve service issues to maintain high levels of customer service
Requirements
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in logistics, operations, or waste management is preferred
